Printmaking and Drawing Workshops
Would you like to try your hand at traditional printmaking at a unique York venue? PICA Studios is an artist led collective of over 20 artists, makers and writers housed in an 18th century printworks right in the centre of York. Lesley is offering half day or full day workshops exploring the traditional print technique of drypoint etching, using a Hawthorn etching press. Plus trace monoprint/ monotype workshops.
Or perhaps drawing is more your thing. Following on from Lesley’s full figure drawing and portrait drawing half day workshops, Lesley is opening up a new full day Dynamic Figure Drawing workshop. This workshop offers full tuition with lots of demonstrations, tips and techniques to improve drawing skills, but also shows that drawing can be fast and fun when we allow ourselves to be brave and carefree with it. There will be a live clothed model to draw from.

All workshops are limited to 4 or 5 students to ensure individual attention, so book soon to guarantee your place.
Half day workshops cost £45 per person, and full day £75. All workshops are suitable for all levels.
Includes all materials, apron, gloves where necessary and refreshments.
